The Partners at Amidon Jewlers. just went to Tuscon Az for a week to the annual winter meeting of CBG and Preferred Jewelers of the world. There are fewer than 100 jewelers allowed into this elite group of independant companies. In spite of the small number of companies choosen to be a part of the group, the combined dollar volume of this group is greater than any chain jeweler.

For example, The largest jewelry retailer in the world it Sterling Group (Owner of Kay's, Jarred, Helzberg Diamonds, and more). Their total yearly sales is about a billion dollars. The largest Jeweler-buying group (600 members "IJO") represents just 500 million total sales.

CBG - Preferred Jewelers of the World as a group does nearly 1.5 Billion!! This allows the selected jewelers to compete on an international level with enormous buying power, finding better products for less money and passing the savings on to the end consumer.
