We may no longer be a toddler and completely absorbed with the Easter Rabbit and the basket of candy and eggs he’ll bring on Easter, who can’t help but to sneak a Cream Egg or marshmallow Peep during this season? Local Estate Jewelry Show to Feature Celebrity Jewels Amidon Jewelers is putting on an Estate show on March 21 and 22. It will be fun just for people to stop by and look at some of the amazing items on display, including a bracelet worn by Cher. Earrings from Elizabeth Taylor. A watch that was worn by John Wayne. These and many more Celebrity owned Jewelry items will be featured at the estate event happening at Amidon Jewelers. Date: Thursday, March 21st: at Amidon Jewelers, 124 Washington Street, Claremont, NH The vast majority of the estate items being shown in this event are available for purchase with a large variety of pieces under $1500. Additionally, items will be featured from Robert Goulet (including cufflinks given to him from President Ronald Reagan), Mia Farrow (including gifts to her from Frank Sinatra and Yul Brenner), Mary Pickford, Bette Midler, Tallulah Bankhead, Bob Hope, Jon Peters (a vintage Rolex given to him by then girlfriend Barbra Streisand), Les Paul (a pocketwatch given to him from Ritchie Sambora), Tony Curtis (including a pocketwatch given to him by Jack Lemmon) and more. The Estate show is from 10 to 6 in Claremont on Thursday, and from 11 to 7 on Friday.

RING IN SPRING

For some of us, the last time we saw green leaves on trees feels like a lifetime ago. This winter has brought one snowstorm after another, far more than last winter. While some of us cheer for the upcoming Spring, those who enjoy the snow sports of winter eye the soon departing snow with a lust for continued cold.




The grooves from our snow shovels have etched a permanent place in our memory from repeated clearings of our sidewalks and driveways. We can hear the repeated scraping sound the shovel makes on the asphalt, and feel the breeze of the snow flying through the air.





Despite all the snow, good news is only a matter of a couple weeks away. Spring is quickly approaching, and soon the brown branches of winter will be a distant memory. What better way to bring in spring than with a wide selection of rings?
